Hi all! I have a neice on the Nimitz.  Her mom is deceased so I'm the fill in.  I am going to homecoming but am wondering how we get on base that day?  Anyone know?  So glad we have a group!

Good Morning. My daughter, Taylor is on the USS Nimitz also. Originally from Ct. so any news especially dates of their return would be appreciated. Thank you -

Hello all,  I just found this group.  My son is currently on deployment aboard the Nimitz.  He's assigned to VFA 154 "Black Knights".  Do y'all know that there is a site that send pictures and current Navy news to your email?  If you google sign up for gov delivery you can start getting them.  I get a daily picture of the day.  It's been a great way for me to know what's been going on, especially since they got delayed in their return trip.  I'm sure you all know that they're in the Red Sea now hanging out.... waiting...

How do I know what group or anything that I may need to know concerning my son that's on the Nimitz?

My son is on the Nimitz and I pray that all is good! Worried a tad bit.

As this is his first deployment, how and when do we find out when they will be back so we can buy plane tickets etc?

My son is on the Nimitz,  he's part of the Wallbangers VAW 117.  So excited for all of them out there and so very proud!

Hello all. It has been awhile. How is everyone?

Wanted to make sure this is a site for Navy moms of sailors and not for Mom's actually on the ship? Thanks Debbie
