Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We have a PARTY to plan!!
Rear Admiral Scott Sanders, deputy commander for US Navy Second Fleet is coming to Arizona and wants to meet US! He is also mentor to NOSC Phoenix and has asked to meet with Navy and military moms and dads when he visits Arizona for two days next month. The Executive Officer of Navy Operational Support Center Phoenix has asked us to host the event for RADM Sanders, a real honor for us.
The event will be a potluck at the Bass Pro Shop near the 101 and 202 interchange (Red Mountain North 202) in Mesa, in their lovely private-event setting, the Fine Gun Room; map & directions below. RADM Sanders will be coming from the 1:10 pm Diamondbacks game where he is scheduled to throw out the first pitch, so our event will be from 5 - 8 pm. My email is marcy@marcyscott.com, cell 602-369-6900 - help!! :) Let's show the Navy how great its Arizona Navy Moms are.
RECIPES: If anyone would like to call & tell me, email or fax their recipes, I'll print them out and place copies by the dishes - I know I like to be able to go home and make something I've enjoyed at a party :)
NAME TAGS: email me a photo of your sailor, his rate and where he's stationed, along with your name and AZ hometown, and I'll create a name tag for you - send to marcy@marcyscott.com.
