My son graduated from A school in Great Lakes this past December. He was scheduled to take leave (15 days) over the Christmas and New Years holidays before reporting to Pensacola for his C school. His leave was either recinded or cancelled and he remained in Great Lakes before reporting to Pensacola in early January. During the time he was supposed to have been on leave, he had duty and mustered each day.
Last month he realized he had been charged for the 15 days he never took. His command in Pensacola told him that the issue was in Great Lakes and would need to be addressed there. He has been unable to contact anyone from his previous command and no on calls him back when messages are left. He feels he's getting the runaround and told me that he just as soon will let the matter drop and lose the 15 days. I'd hate to see him lose the time off. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what or who he should contact?
Thanks in Advance!
