One more question....do they normally get a break in between A school and C school?

pam-Thanks so much for your info! I have heard it could take longer which I would be okay b/c we are planning on getting married and it would give me more time to plan.  But I know I can't be selfish so I will do what is best for our situation.

My bf graduates on June 3 and will be a grad and go to pensacola. Does anyone knw if there is currently a wait on starting classes? I'm new to this and I wasn't for sure if he would start right away or if he would have a waiting period?

tasmyn44(Pam)-Rus is not getting married in Calif., his fiance, Sarah is graduating the University of Indiana, and she lives in Evansville, so we will all be going to Evansville for the wedding. So we are in for a busy 3 weeks..

tasmyn44(Pam)-Rus is still in San Diego, as far as I know he is staying there. He is getting married May 20th and is moving off base. Was your son suppose to move? Rus is done with Cschool next week and goes to his squadron.

Hi Ladies! Just found this group. My hubby graduates boot next week, and he went in signed up as an AT based on his Asvab score, but I was looking at his orders on bumpers and they have him going to AE aschool... so this is a whole new ball game for us! We havent read anything about AE.. looks like the schooling is shorter than AT so I dont think our son and me will be move to Pensacola to join him which is a real disappointment. But before I turn biased against AE because of that anyone have in useful links or information about AE and the aschool?

Does anyone know if an AE has C School for sure?

tasmyn44-My sailor also drove, they(pens) told him he would get his travel money when he got to San Diego, at San Diego they told him- he said that he would have to wait until May-Didn't make any sence to me but May is almost here. He loves San Diego. He said it wasn't as clean as Pensacola or Great Lakes at least not where he was at first, he has been moved to different barracks 4  times. He is looking forward to moving off base in May.
