I just read about the Navy Lodge cancellations, so I called there to verify my reservation for Easter weekend.  I was told that my room could be cancelled by them on a moment's notice due to evacuees coming in from Japan.  The woman told me today that she had to call 10 guests and cancel their reservations.  Any ideas on a better place to stay?  I cancelled my reservation there because I don't want to arrive there, after a 22 hour drive, and have no place to stay.

Nina- my sailor is in San Diego doing his C school. He arrived late January and just classed up 2 weeks ago. He loves it there.

Some of his classmates went to the East Coast. I think it's whatever is available and whatever kind of plane or helicopter they are gonna work on.

Nina my sailor is doing his C school in San Diego, I think he is having to wait at least 2 months for the class to start. I think his class is 6-8 weeks long, but not for sure.

Thats great. It is always so much easier when they like where they are at and like what they are doing.
