My Husband just got there on July 28. He hasn't started school yet as he is waiting to class up. He said that they have "Jobs" such as cleaning, watches or front desk work until they class up (start classes)

What do they do while they are waiting to start A school?

My son has been in Pensacola since November, just graduated A school today and is an official AT.  He didn't start school for 3 months after he got there and is so happy to be done and able to get on his way.  Waiting for orders to Virginia Beach.

Navywife2012 My son is in Pensacola and has been there since April 15. He told our friend about a month ago that his AV school will not start for about three months.

That's great that he loves P'Cola. I think your son will have more time to scuba, boat and snorkel....My son told a family friend in the area that he was told the A School is not going to start for three months.

LOVES Pensacola. He is on mids (on duty midnight on) and says its the best. Pretty much ends up having a 3 day weekend for scuba, boating and snorkeling. But that will all change once A school starts. Enjoying while he can....

Wonder what they do with the free time? My son's BDUs just got shipped to our friend's house near P'Cola so he doesn't even have his regular uniform. Does your son like P'cola?
