ChrisyDVM How is your dad? Do you have an update for us?
Still praying.
That is what we are here for.
Thanks paces!
ChrisyDVM Will be praying for you and your family. I know it is so hard when your kids are not present for major events. My mom had open heart surgery several years ago and after a few snags recovered well and was great for over 10 years. Please keep us updated on his progress and we will be praying.
Paces, I'm so happy for you. I'll be more relaxed when my son is back in the states later this year also! My father is having open heart surgery today for 3-4 bypasses. He had his other hip replaced Mon and 24 hours later blood tests showed he had had a heart attack. Heart cath on Fri showed several blockages, one 90%, one 50%, and a couple in the 40%. Six years ago when he had both knees replaced he had a heart attack the next day and had several stints placed. I was hoping Chris could skype w/ my parents pre op as they haven't seen his face in over a year and only talked to him once. I've only skyped twice but we FB chatted yesterday. He's underway now. At least Dad knows he is praying for him along with hundreds of other people! Dad is in good hands with an awesome surgical team but more importantly he's in God's hands. My mom, daughter and I sang two hymns to him this morning and I had prayer. Dad is at peace. Still waiting for that 1st update of 1st cut.
Good morning everyone. It is finally raining here. Such a wonderful smell and feeling. Our son finally made it home again yesterday. It took 40 hours between the military flight and commercial flights to get him home. Such a frustrating day. But we are doing the "Happy Dance" and he is so much more relaxed knowing he will be stationed in CA in Aug. Thank you all for your prayers.
This is a fantastic group of Moms, Dads, Wives and Girlfriends. I don't think I could have made it the last 3 years without their support.
