Chriscwick, what awesome coins! I need crow bar to get Chris's mouth open to say much of anything! LOL I scan the 5th Fleet FB page also. There have been NO pics of Chris's ship and he has sent me NO pics of himself; only his apt which I'm thankful for but I want to see his face! He did take a pic of his hand holding a large piece of ammo and that was the most exciting pic yet!
concernedad... Awesome! She should like that.
Been so busy this week, I haven't had a chance to even visit. Nancy Cooper you are so right. It is important to focus on the positive of what our kids are doing. They don't want us to stop our lives. J wants to know everything we are doing and when I tell him we haven't really done anything, he seems disappointed. He is moving on with what he does everyday and we are so proud of him. As a teacher, I get to let my students write letters to our service men and women, especially during the holidays. That gets others involved as well. Thank you so much for your wise words. Welcome B-Ready.
I wish for each of you a great week and weekend. Right now, I am just praying for some rest. We have worked and will have worked 4 13 hour days this week.We should be able to leave on time tomorrow, but who knows. It is hard to believe, but that is becoming the norm for education lately.
Nancy Cooper's Mom, wise words. Wise words; it's a let go and let God situation. There is a reason for the extra pay which these young ones like so well; that's the reality of it all. I work in a very busy stressful practice 40-60 hrs/week but he is never far from my thoughts and many of my coworkers and clients keep him in their prayers as does my family and my church; so he is definitely prayed up! :)
B-Ready, welcome to the group!
Paces, I know what you mean. I'm a detail person and the more details I know, the better I feel and I like to be able to pray about specifics. I understand OPSEC and all but I'd rather know what I'm allowed to know so I don't feel like I'm in the total dark! I just found out mine is out to sea this morning; don't know where, why or for how long :( God speed to all our sailors.
