Welcome, Donnita. Yes, it seems like we are meant to be on this journey together. Sorry, I didn't invite you here. From our comments to each other, I knew that we share the same faith, I just didn't realize we shared the same denominational background as well.

Beverly, yes, God is good and the sun is shining here as well. (He would still be good if the sun wasn't shining, but I am liking the sunshine.) We had freezing rain and ice in the forecast for tomorrow and snow for Monday and now it's just rain. I'm glad for that change as well.

Take care and blessings to you all.

I will be moving a little at a time over the next two weeks. I moved over two car loads of stuff today and have the car packed to move more tomorrow. Some friends and former neighbors will be my neighbors again and the husband helped with unpacking my car and said he'd continue to help in that way. I have friends from school and church helping with the big stuff on the 27th.
The job search is kind of at a standstill since I have to wait for positions to open up and we have had snow days so some who said they would write letters for me haven't gotten them to me. In education, admin. positions are often not posted until February or March and teaching positions are not posted until March or April. My position has been cut in my current district for next year due to declining enrollment. Like I said, it didn't take God by surprise and I know He has something better in store for me, but I get overwhelmed every now and then. Thanks again for the prayers.

I'm having a rough time right now (and no, it's not because of the stuff on this site--there will always be those people) and could use some prayers. I know that what is happening is not a surprise to God and that He has good plans for me, but I'm human and want to see where this will all end up. As I typed this, Jeremiah 29:11 came to mind. (Isn't God good?) "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (NIV) Anyway, I am moving starting Monday and searching for for a new postion for the next school year and could use your prayers. Thanks so much.
