Yesterday was the Twelfth Day of Christmas. Have a great Epiphany today and watch for the Wise Men. We could use some wise men and women today.

Good morning Merry Christmas Eve-day!  Chrissy is glad to be out GL! It is dry here today so we can go up the hill for church tonight. She gave me a  poinsettia yesterday. So not mad at her about the book anymore.

Sorry you were ill, Kaynorth, hope you are all healed now.

I need to do some baking and wrapping.

Hi Vicky, I'm not sure why she gave it to you.  It is often referred to as the Navy's "bible" because it has all the procedures and is the best source of information on a variety of topics that those in the Navy need to know to help them in their Navy life (much as the Bible teaches us how to conduct ourselves throughout life).  Maybe she thinks it will help you understand her.  Yes, having a Sailor home on leave is interesting (wonderful at times and trying at others).  Prayers continue for both of you.

? What is 'The Bluejacket's Manual" and why did she give to me?  She handed to me as part of my Christmas present and said it is the Navy bible.  I said thanks. I thought it was a Bible with a Navy cover. It isn't. I'm NOT a sailor what I am supposed to do with it!?! Doe she actually think I would read it? Or maybe she just doesn't want to store it anymore since she is moving so needed to get rid of it. It is used, she has notes in it. Please pray for me. I hope I survive this leave she has just been home  1 day and is already driving me NUTS!!!!

Yes, I talked to her today. She was happy her chief gave her the day off today for being such a good housekkeeper. I guess all those chores she had growing up did some good. Going back to church has helped her too, she feels the Navy is where she is supposed to be.

Vicky, That is great that you and Chrissy are talking again. Prayerfully, things will continue to improve.
