He sleeps 95% of the time; I've been told that that means he's healing. He still isn't eating, because he's too groggy.

Thankful to God that the other three are home continuing to recover.

Still praying.

He's responding! He knows me and kissed my hand. Thanks for the prayers; he needs lots more. He has a long road of recovery ahead, physically and emotionally.

Benjamin pulled his breathing tube out himself - even with his hands restrained. He mostly lays there and moves his hands and feet, but keeps his eyes shut. He did whisper his last name when he was asked. :)

KWL's mom, prayers for all involved in the accident and for those who have been affected by the accident.

My sailor seems to have found a good church home. He leaves Groton at the end of May. For now, I need prayers for my youngest son. He was in a bad car wreck Sunday night. He was with 4 others. All listed in serious condition. One died. He will have x-rays this morning, and back surgery to follow. Broken bones to heal.

KWL's mom, prayers for your son as he completes BMS and starts "A" School and that he finds a new church home. It is my prayer that my Sailor also finds a church home at his current command.

That's great! I know how much those phone calls meant to me when my son was in boot camp. And still do - when he finds the time to call. He graduates BMS Friday, and will soon be in A school. He needs lots of prayer. He's a great kid, and needs a new church home.

Recruit Man-Ronny has finally been declared the winner.  https://www.facebook.com/GoldToe?sk=app_326649834116987&app_dat....  Thanks for all who voted and a special thanks to Ronny for all he does for the recruits.

Comment by lemonelephant on February 22, 2013 at 3:04am

Thank you to everyone who voted for Recruit Man-Ronny.  When voting closed he was ahead, so I hope that when they declare the winner that it is him.  Ronny does a lot for our recruits by providing free phone cards through http://callsforrecruits.org/. While you're thinking about it, if you are able, please make a donation at http://callsforrecruits.org/ to help with the cost of the cards.
