pamelag, that is great news. It is great that those recruits are doing that.
BTW, your son is curently a recruit or SR, not a sailor. He is not a Sailor until he has completed Battle Stations-21 toward the end of BC.

Received a letter from my sailor and I was so happy to hear that he get together with some of the other sailor's in Ship 3 and read passages from Proverbs, he says it helps them to get through the stressful moments. As I was reading his letter I was telling myself God gave them the knowledge to read his word and he will give them strength to get through this. God Bless Our Sailors! pamelag

Hello my B.W.O.F. family, I received my information for my son's PIR date and I feel better now thanks to God. I started my letters and cards and I will not let one go out without mentioning to him to trust God and ask him to direct his path. God Bless! pamelag

Hi Katynorth this is pamelag, I agree with we are all children of God and I was brought up to just serve God not the denominations which included Penticostal, Presbyterian, Methodist, and Baptist in which I grew up worshipping in. I trust in "One Nation Under GOD" and I pray that this group won't be deleted, because we need it for us and our sailors. God Bless!

Good morning, I am a Happy Mom today! I got to IM Chrissy last night and it was morning her time, so I got to say Happy Birthday on her birthday morning. I was crying tears of joy. Good thing it wasn't skype. She hates to see me cry. But I am happy. I was on FB hoping she would come on and she did! She liked the video I sent her and the pic. Then I lost her, but that happens.

Thank God for FB.
