For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

waterman --- go to youtube videos----type in the search bar ( battlestations 21) a video will come up with 'wolf the news announcer in it? watch it then you know what battlestations is...its very interesting to watch... Any one heard on Ship 04 DIV 809 yet? Ive been told their next phone call was April 7th in a letter I got,,,. so I guess I'll be half way to Chicago by the time I find out how my Son done.....

Ship 03 Division 145 - Thursday, April 2, 2010 (if brother divisions go at the same time)
Thursday is the 1st (If you're still able to make edits to the post)
My son is Ship 06 Div 921. I still have no word about his BS but, will pass along anything I get.
Good Luck to all of our recruits! If they finish over the weekend and get to call home, what a great Easter treat that will be since so many of my family members will be together when I get that call comes!
Keeping all of the recruits close to my heart!! See you all soon! *Can you believe it!?!*
