For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Good Luck to all the Sailors doing BS tonight! My daughter told me they will do theirs tomorrow and that they are doing them with 151. She also told me that 151 is scheduled to call home at about 2pm IL time on Wednesday! ~~~~GO NAVY~~~~

Hey NanaJ,
I am not sure how it goes today, but I think that they are on the battlestations from 8 pm to 8 am and we should get a call tomorrow starting after 10 central time. Keep your phone glued to you! I know I am on pins and needles!

Hi all. My son is on Ship 13 Div 150 so that makes his Battlestations today. When is it supposed to be and do they call afterward? My son is not the greatest communicator so he hasn't said anything about it.

ship 04 div 809 won capt's cup too :)) they must be going into BS with 809... good luck to all, and my son in 809..
