For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

no BS info from my son in his letter yesterday (dated 3/28) But, said he would call Saturday (they earned some time to call since they've only had 1 call home) I'll get Battle Station Info from him then and post it!

Florida mom, google CNN Navy battlestation and watch the video. Be prepared to cry! I saw it and it blew me away. It really gives you an idea of what our recruits are going through.

I know, we will be on our way too! I wonder if they ever go earlier than planned ? Em just said next Weds , which could be today (she wrote on 3-28) except it's posted that they always go in numerical order

so... then I take it, ship 13 div 151 will also will have bs21 on wednesday? does that mean wednesday evening & then we get call thursday? I'm gonna be on a plane... dang
