Hello and greetings from Minnesota.  I returned home from Beaufort last week after dropping off our Sailor at the barracks there next to the Naval Hosp. She actually works on Parris Island and drives to work there each day. Its a beautiful, small town and surrounding area. Being from the upper Midwest,  the huge Moss trees are quite a sight! Having never been to that part of the Country, I drove to both Charleston and Savannah (on different days) to tour the historical cities. But even Beaufort itself has much to see such as the National Cemetery which I visited as well. So much to see and do, I can't wait to go back! We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn which I would recommend for many reasons.

Is anybody else's son or daughter a corpsman at Beaufort Navy Hospital?

Had a great time with my sailor during the holidays and I just made reservations at Hilton Head for our summer family visit.  Ten of us!!  It will be fun (if we don't kill each other)!

I just moved into Laurel Bay yesterday! It's very pretty here. But it kinda seems like everybody keeps to themselves. I could be wrong but besides the occasional kid or dog barking it's really quiet. Well if you don't count the jets! Haha.
