OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Graduation date for those who shipped out May 23?..
Hello! Does anyone know the graduation date for those who arrived at boot camp around May 23? I have been told that it will either be July 28 or August 4. I have a dilemma, and I need advice. I am in a musical this summer and the last weekend of our performance is the weekend of July 28th. I want to go to my sailor's graduation, but it's a possibility it is on that performance date. He knew this before he left and he told me I needed to audition for the show anyway. He said it would keep me busy while he is gone and it is something I have really looked forward to. He said that he is chasing his dream and he doesn;t want to keep me from chasing mine. It is possible I will not find out the graduation date until 3 weeks before it.
I feel that graduating from boot camp is a great accomplishment and I need to be there for him. He has always been there for me and has traveled many miles to support me. So my question is, do I stick with the musical or drop out so I can go to his graduation for sure? I have a good role that involves some lines and solos. I do not want to let the director down, but I don't want to let Chris down either. I know he told me to take my chance with the musical, but I feel like I should be there for him. So what all will I be missing if I don't go to his graduation? I really wish I knew the date so I could just make a decision and figure out what I need to do. Some of you have had to deal with moments like this and any advice really helps!!
