For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

09/042 - Ship/Div - Anyone else have a SR in there??
My son left on 11/15/11 ~ His recruiter called me today to give me his address as he knew that with the Holidays the form letter would take longer to get here! I still have not received the Form letter, but was wondering if there are any other mothers out there with SRs in this Division! I am very excited, the PIR will be 1/13/2012 and he will qualify for the Adopt a Sailor program at Christmas!! GO NAVY!!

My son is in this division. We are all planning on going to see him for Adopt a Sailor. Will be driving 9 hours to see him for one day, but very excited to do this. He proposed to his girlfriend before he went in so she is going to join us also. We get letters every week and I received one call from him thus far. Actually he called his girlfriend and she conferenced me in. It was so good to hear his voice.
