My daughter shipped out for BC the following day..11/22/2011.

What city did she ship out from? Di you know her graduation date?

Shipped out from Phoenix. Don't know graduation date yet. Thinking about asking her recruiter tomorrow, I've been told they should know 72 hours after getting to BC but may not be accurate. Waiting on her "Form" letter & "The Box". Not expecting much in the box, probably just her phone..lol.

My son shipped out from phoenix Monday, do they will probably be in same our group
My son left 11/21/11 also. G
This is going to be a growing experience for me too. I just lost my Dad and brother unexpectedly a few months apart. Really missing all 3 of these men in my life during the holidays. Hope you are handling it well and I look forward to talking more throughout bc.

Laurie,

Sending thoughts & prayers for you & your family on the lost of you Dad & Brother. I know not having your son around especially during the holidays is going to be tough & if you need someone to talk to..add me :). Thanksgiving here was an emotional day and I'm sure Christmas isn't going to be any better. I'm just thankful we celebrated our Thanksgiving last week. Hang in there we'll get through it one day at a time :)

I am sorry to hear of your loss. What city did your son ship from? Do you know his our date?

My son arrived at boot camp on 11/22/11. Got his phone call around 11:00 pm est. I am happy for him. But anxious to know how he is doing. he said I will get a box in the mail in 3 weeks and a phone call as well. Hurry up 3 weeks!! LOL I love the Navy and looking forward to graduation. My dad graduated great lakes in 1960...so I can't wait to show him the changes when he comes up for my son's graduation...I'm not sure of the date. Some time in January. do you know your sailors graduation date, or do we find when they find ou

t they passed everything?

Laurie, I am sorry to hear about you dad and brother. my prayers go out to you at this time. Esp at Christmas!!

Hoorah 4 my son,

My daughter arrived the same day. I received her call around 9pm (in Arizona). I too am anxious to know how she is doing. Yeah we'll get "The Box" which will contain anything the took that they want to ship back home. We should also get their div/ship # in a couple weeks or so,  so we can start sending letters. I'm guessing graduation to be in Jan. also, can find that out as well when have div/ship #.

I think our is going to be 1/20 but won't know for sure until I get form letter. I noticed you said az time. Mine left from phoenix. Which city did yours leave from?
Thank you All. I am so thankful for this site and the opportunity to go through this with you all. I look forward to getting to know you all better and being there for you while we all experience this together. Have a blessed day and I look forward to talking more. Oh the excitement when the address comes and the grad day is planned!

Laurie - believe it or not the time will go by fast. My SR graduates on 12/2 and over Thanksgiving my SR told me that just 7 short weeks ago they arrived on a bus at RTC and PIR is a few days away. Write every day and when you get their address mail all the letters you have written. I numbered mine. The first day they got mail my SR told me 10 letter were received.

You will notice I am not referring to my SR as a he/she or by name. RDC's check this website and they can put 2+2 together so please be careful. God Bless you and your SR.
