Anyone have any experience with the Holiday Inn Express?  Looks to be a good hotel.

Which Holiday Day Inn Express are you looking at? We stayed at the Libertyville Holiday Inn Express in August. It was a good location- straight shot to PIR, they offer a shuttle to/from PIR, it was in a quiet area so we heard no traffic noise. Starbucks right next door! There was some road construction going on while we were there, but this didn't cause us much trouble at all. Only downside we experienced was the two large wedding parties staying there the same time we were. Beginning around 11 pm the night before PIR, there was so much noise going in in the hallway and rooms around us we could not sleep, and 3 calls down to the front desk didn't do much good. The next day they moved us to another floor and that night was much better. Read reviews in TripAdvisor. Mine is on there was well.

Morningglory,,,,,,,,,,, same hotel as you. Thank you for the feedback. I have made my reservations for this hotel.

I am actually staying at the one in Waukegan, it is near the meet and greet,

NausetMom............Is that the one in Libertyville ? If so that's where we are staying. When is your PIR?

No they are 2 different hotels, the one I am staying in is the one that  Catmom509 stayed in.   My son's PIR date is Oct 11th.  We got PIR rates.
