Good morning all!

Last nite about 8pm i missed two call from Great Lakes, I checked the numbers on the web and the number that was on my phone was the same area code and first 3 digits.  I tried to call the number back with no answer.  Has anyone had a call from boot camp on day 2 of their childs starting?  I am freaking out....

thanks

Did you get the 15 second call when he first arrived?
Yes
What is your kid's rate?  If it's a rate that requires a security clearance, they will be calling you for information, i.e. refrences, addresses, etc. My daughter's rate requires a security clearance and she wasn't even there 24 hours and they were starting the process.  So I got a call then, then about a week or so later, another one.
thanks so much, Love this site!!! My son did call today and that is what they needed some info for security clearance...it was a relief to be sure!

If my son has a rate that requires a security clearance and I haven't had a call for more info is that good or bad?  He shipped on 9-1.

It's neither.  When and if they need info, they'll call.  I would assume that all SRs don't all go through the process at the same time.  I got a call early on....then also later on.  And they can't complete the whole questionaire (which is done online) in one sitting.  It's really nothing to worry about.

Thanks!
Son has only been gone since Tuesday, How many days until the Famous Box arrives?  Is it US mail, Fed ex, or UPS?  I have No patience what so ever.  I am still so sick to my stomach!   HELP!
It might still take a week.  It's fedex...but I don't think it requires a signature.

thank you so much!

dimper....my son left on 8/17 and I got the box on 8/20, it came fed ex.  I know how you feel....its been 23 days already for me and I still miss him very much....I've gotten 2 letters so that helps.

Trying to be Patient, Not working! lol
