My daughter went to BC yesterday 9/25/13.  We got a 3 ring phone call last night but phone was dead when we picked up.  Been reading on here that the phones die and there are no payphones.  I guess we just wait now for the "box" and the form letter.  Curious if there are any other family members of the group that started yesterday on here?  Also when do we find out their DIV#?  This is a whole new learning experience.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi my son is there now. I got the call he sounded great. Other than that I have not heard anything
Hi! You'll find out DIV in form letter. :)
I guess on sort of a veteran now. My sons graduation was almost a year ago. Oct 2012. Ask away. There is no stupid questions!

Thank you, as I think of them I will post.  Got 1, how often can we speak to them once they are in "A" school?

Im*
My son left today should be landing now actually
I'm waiting for him to call from the airport I hope
He can I was told that I can call his recruiter in 72 hours
To get his address n PIR date
How are you holding up being a day ahead of me?
I'm numb right now but tears fall out of no where
Hugs!!!!

Its a different feeling each day.  I am so very proud of the decision she made but I miss talking to her.  We honestly bickered ALOT, but the day she left she was that sweet daughter that I knew was in there.  8 weeks is a long time, but this too shall pass.  My hubby, son and her boyfriend went to her swearing in, I am home disabled from MS so that would have been WAY to much for me.  I got to say goodbye here at home, which we will be moving in a few weeks so the whole family is on an adventure.  Her to Navy us from Long Island to Florida.  <3 <3 <3

I was told the same thing. I have contacted his recruiter and have not heard back. My child left Sept. 24, I was cleaning my house this morning and the tears were just rolling. I'm still expecting to see him walking through the door. And say hey mom what's up? Hugs and prayers to all those going through the same.

We are going to try and call recruiter tomorrow, but I have a update on my phone for Oct 8th to call recruiter so IDK.

My son left Columbia SC on Sept 24th haven't heard anything yet but I did receive his box today from Fed Ex

my son left on 9/24 no box yet. oh well maybe tomorrow

My daughter also went to BC 9-25!!!  Got the brief phone call that she was there, that's been it.  Hearbroken and lonely here without her.  I have NO info, no box, no division#, no PIR date, nothing yet.  What's your first name?  And your daughters?  My name is Sarah, I'm in CT, and my daughter is Katie.  We gotta support each other on this journey.  :)
