juliea243 - My daughter is in the same div. 146 ship 3.  Have you heard from her yet?  How is she doing?
Betty
Betty Boo - there has to be a way to connect so that we can chat.  I will be happy to give your son a hug and take some pics for you.  Maybe email me at:  melissaasoto@verizon.net.  I look forward to hearing from you!
sailormom - I haven't heard from yet. I hope she and your daughter are doing well. They should be able to make thier frist calls soon I hope.
sailormom - I haven't heard from her yet. All I have gotten so far is the form with the little bit she got to write on the bottom. I hope she and your daughter are doing well. I can't wait to get the first letter or call. oops soory posted this twice :-(
juliea243 - I'm sure they are doing okay.  I spoke with my daughter once yesterday morning, she was calling for information.  The call was very brief and  she wasn't allowed to "talk" to me really.  She had someone with her.  She called again last night, sounded a little better, gathering more information for security check.  She is struggling. She said that bootcamp is fvery intense.  She is homesick, tired, and said she doesn't remember why she joined the navy.  I am worried about her but I am told this is all normal.  She said she received a letter from  me and she mailed a couple of them home.  I have yet to receive them.  I keep trying to give her encouragement.  I hope that is enough.  By the end of the conversation she was feeling a little better.  My heart is breaking but I keep praying she will find the strength to do what she needs to do.  Let me know if you hear from your daughter.  It would be nice to know if they were in the same group.  My daughter is on laundry duty of some sort, with 3 other girls.  Not enough time to talk with her.  I too am anxiously awaiting the arrival of that first letter.
Sailormom : You spoke to your daughter !!!! I am extact for you. I just replied to your email. and I did not know that it was you that I was talking about about someone heard from their daughter. Good to hear that she is sounding better. Poor kids, wow and I think that she is being so brave. You have some brave girls. sailormom and juliea243. I am so glad that she was feeling better. Encouragment, even when you want to tell them to come home..... I am happy to hear that she received a letter hoping that my sailor has recieved one from me. I am anxious too, very anxious. Sailormom your encouragement was enough, you know her and if she was sounding better by the end of the conversation. Good Job Mom....

I would like to know if anyone else is completely in the dark about their recruit I have not received anything except his box No contact whatsoever . His division is set to graduate this day but when does the MOM find out .....! I have wriitten about 20 letters and no reply

Rene, your recruit is scheduled to graduate this coming Monday and you haven't heard anything from him? Wow, I don't know what to say. You must be able to call someone up there to find out what is going on...have you contacted his recruiter? There are other people who have more experience than I in this...hopefully they will be able to give you more info...I just wanted to touch base with you. Good luck. I'll be thinking about both you and your son. What ship and division is he on?
Thanks Sista I am chillin !
I'm sorry, I misread the post. I see now that you were talking about the date above and your post shows the ship and division.
Still no word from my daughter, bummer. Hopefully soon. I really miss her.
