Hi everyone,

My husband's PIR is 05/08.. Do you know when they get to make the I'm a Sailor call?  I haven't heard from him in a while and I wanted to know at what phase he is at currently?  Any insight would be helpful.

Also have any of you attended PIR with babies (twins), and how did you manage, how did they manage?

Thanks

What division is he in? Your sailor call will happen after battlestations which takes place during week 6 of training. If you know his division number you can ask someone who has a SR in the same division where they are in training. Mine is in division 174 and today is day 5-1 of his training. He just finished hell week.
Hi, My SR is in DIV 173 he has about 3 weeks to go.
This should be his 6 week of training, maybe I will get a call this week?
No, if he is DIV 173 he is in mine's brother division and they train together. They just started week 5 of training. They had several processing days at the beginning. Today is 5-1 of training and next Tuesday is 6-1 of training.
Thank you so much for clarify that for me! I was adding in those first few days. This can be confusing trying to keep up with all of this and take care of our babies lol! This has been an exciting and unique experience so far, and its just the beginning...
Your welcome. It does get confusing, and a little discouraging sometimes. Just stay positive and remember no news is good news and it's almost over.
I will keep that in mind, and thank goodness it's almost over lol!
My SR is in div 176 and today is her day 4-4 so she's almost at the end of hell week. She was in the push division which means she started later than all the other divisions. Her week 6 won't start until April 29th and according to others on the site, it's Thursday, Monday, or Tuesday of week 6 that they go through battle stations and the calls start on that tuesday. I'm thinking the call would come in May 5 or even early morning May 6.

I'm a big sister to a twin, and aunt to her twin girls and I have twin cousins too. I don't know how people handle twin babies at PIR but if you need a helping hand just let me know.
Wow twins run in your family too! My mom will be coming along so she' ll have to hold one, thanks for the offer! My SR is in DIV 173.

Anna, Your recruit's division will have BST in the last week before PIR and will call only a few days before PIR. See Battle Stations-21 (BST).

Check your My Page.

Lemonelephant thank you for guiding me through this site, this a wealth of information. I posted the same question with another group and no one responded. Thank you guys for your responses, it's tough being alone with twin babies and not knowing what is going on while my SR is finishing bc.

You are very welcome. Your recruit is doing well and making a future for you and your little ones. Take care of yourself and your little ones and make plans to hug your Sailor in a couple more weeks.
