Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Hello eeryone, I would like to know if anyone has a love one that left on 9/14/12 for boot camp? It's kind of lonely on this site or I might have missed a few posting.

I know there are others whose children left that day. I've been seeing posts by other moms! Don't feel alone regardless, we are going through the same things. Here if you need to talk or have questions. I'm not a pro but my son has been gone since August 21. :)

Hello from Florida. My daughter left on the 4th. Don't feel alone there are plenty of us moms here to listen. I am pretty new at this but look through the discussions, that will help you figure out what to start doing and what to expect. When my daughter left, I immediately started keeping a running letter going to tell her what was going on day to day until I got her address. Just a long rambling letter but I know she will appreciate hearing what is going on at home:) about 9 days later I got her form letter with her address, so I already had one long letter to go, and had her sisters write also, so we were able to send out 4 right away. Now that I know when she will graduate I have gone into planning mode on how to get there, where to stay, all of that fun stuff to keep my mind off of missing her:) Once you get your letter they will start a group for other SR's graduating on the same day, then you will really be able to connect with families. Hang in there!! We will get through this crazy ride.

Hey my name is Rose and my daughter also left on the 4th of September. I am also new to this site, I received her box last week and right now I do not have her address and I do not know what division or ship she is assigned to.

Hi ifhicks! Like taylordays said as soon as you know what ship and division your SR is in let us know. We will point you to the PIR group for your SRs division and TG (training group) for that date. We have not yet started the PIR group 11/09 yet, but probably will sometime this week. We are waiting for some confirmed divisions and PIR dates to get everyone in the right group. Hang in there it won't be long. I promise.
