Do NOT send recordable cards to the RTC; they will be great for "A" School or after, so save them for then. See Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit.

I'm not sure but from what I've read his should be 2/5... but if it's 1/29 that would be great even sooner!! :)

mamastephs, those who arrived at the end of the week will most likely have PIR 02/05/2016. It would be very unlikely for a recruit who shipped on Wednesday or Thursday to be in a Push Division and have an early PIR. If they do end up in a Push Division, it would be with recruits arriving the next week who are pushed ahead and some in the division would have 9 Fridays (those arriving on Wednesday or Thursday) and some (those arriving on Monday or Tuesday) would have 8 Fridays.

Thank you for the info, very helpful. Lemonelephant, mamastephs

:o)

Make sure to encourage him to memorize general orders and such from the dep starter guide. Makes life a lot easier when they get there.

Hi ! My daughter leaves Jan 5th from Fla also !

My son leaves on the 6th too! I cry instantly! He has declared any space where he is visible to be a "cry free" zone! I'm super proud of him...just not looking forward to not having him here everyday! Right now we are hustling getting last minute things organized!

Hi  how are you doing tonight ? My nerves are shot lol it is definitely going to be hard , I went into her room after she left and had to pack some things up and that was it for me =(...she asked me not to cry when she swears in tomorrow and gets on the bus to the airport ,I do not think that is going to happen as hard as i try =) .I am so proud of her and know she is going to be great . Good luck with you tomorrow !
