Yes!!! I received the form letter today and my daughter will be graduating the same day. It felt so good to get the letter. I'm like you, if it was that awesome getting a form letter, how will I be able to contain myself with a personal letter from her.
Today is a great day for the both of us!
I'm still waiting. When did they each get to boot camp? My son started 3/28.
He left on March 28 also! Today I got the form letter both with his package from FedEx which I had to sign for
My Son began 3/28 too!!! No letter yet. Hopeful
I'm so Happy for you Moms!!!!
Thank you! Keep checking!!!
Same date for me! Just booked hotel and plane ticket. How about hotel was more expensive than plane ticket!
No way, really? Hown and where did you book everything? And is it refundable? I need advice!
Yes just make sure you get the insurance to make sure you can change the dates if need be. My other son travels a lot with sports so we are members of Marriot so we haven't had any trouble moving reservations around. My worry was with it being a holiday weekend if I waited to long my the prices would be crazy!
I didn't even know it was a holiday weekend! Thank you so much, I was going to wait. I'm booking everything tomorrow!
Anytime! Only reason I know is because it is also my wedding anniversary. We did our wedding around Memorial Day so family could attend and not have to use vacation leave. hope you find great deals!
I had taken a wild guess at when our PIR date would be and saw that it was Memorial Day weekend. I've had a hotel booked since before he left for BC! Yesterday, though, after receiving his form letter and getting confirmation that PIR was 5/26, I got referred to Navy Lodge for lodging. Went there and reserved a room with a kitchen for half of what I had already reserved 6 miles away! I don't think airfare is going to be as easy, though!
