OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

New moms, wives, etc.  This is a link to some great questionnaires one of our members posted. Send them to your SR. Their replies are pretty funny.

Thanks Barbara!  I noticed that some folks were having trouble downloading the questionnaires to their computers, most likely due to the fact that they were saved with Word 2007 or higher.  I'm uploading same in Word 2003 (.doc) to allow wider distribution, as well as a couple more that I found out there.  Give me just a sec and they should appear.

Thanks!  We really enjoyed our SR's responses, it brings a smile on those rough days!
Let's see if this works....

Great idea!!!  I'm going to copy and paste some of these into my next letter.  Thanks!!

and a few more...
Thank you... those are really cute and you know the boys might even answer them. Awesome !!!

these are great I am going to print them all and send to my SR with SASE attached.  how easy will it be for him to fill in the blanks --any SR can do that right!????

Thank you. I am looking forward to seeing what my son's answers will be.

These are great! I am printing them off and sending them to my daughter.  She isn't very informative when she writes.  Thanks

Thanks for these.  I tried some of the others, but only one would download.

Hey C'sMoM2020,

How are you? I tried some to when mine was in and I just used the ones I could down load. He loved them and it's easy for them to answer and the write you a note on the paper. :)
