While in boot camp, are we allowed to mail our daughter some stamps, or another calling card?  Can she buy these itmes herself there?

Of course you can. :) Some of the previous SRs sell their stamps to others. Hope that helps! :)

She can buy them there but you can for sure send her more.

Are there any moms out there who have a daughter in Ship 07, DIV 007

Sarah's mom - I think you meant 077, right, not 007 - my son was Div. 007 and he graduated in November.  :)  Anyway - go to groups and search for your PIR date.  That group will have lots of people with kids in your daughter's division and in her training group.  I met a lot of great ladies from my PIR group and we managed to meet up and spend some time together in Great Lakes.  I'm not talented enough to post the link here - but if you go to groups and search PIR - date of your daughter's PIR you should find it.  Good luck.

No, her form letter does state Ship 07, Div 077.  Gosh, I certainly hope she did not write it down wrong.  I did already get on teh PIR date.  Hers is 3-2-2012.  I have not found anyone yet, and that's what makes me nervous.

No - you are right - the Div. would be 077 - in your earlier post you had asked if there were any moms with daughter's in 007.  Since 007 has already graduated and the numbers only go up it would be 077 - don't worry - you're good.  ok - below is a link that should take you to your PIR group.

   PIR: Mar 02, 2012           TG 16 - 09 Divisions (075–080 & 914–916)

Oh wait - my bad - you are looking for others with daughters in her division - not just anybody in that division. Sorry - my brain just go caught up with my reading.  I hope you find more moms of daughters!  Maybe as PIR gets closer more will show up.

Yes, I was hoping to find some moms to hook up with. Maybe in time. Thanks

Hi Sarah...make sure the calling card is activated when you mail it to her so she won't lose time on her phone call to you trying to activate it. She can buy stamps at the NEX, what I did was I sent my sailor a self addressed stamped envelope included in my letters. Also make sure that you press your letters thin, they don't have a lot of room in their compartments and if it's bulky, their RDC will make them open it in front of everybody.
