Hi my son left on May 17th too. His PIR is 7/15/2011 as well. Believe me when I say I know exactly what you mean, I miss my son VERY much!!

He's in a different division (228). Where did your son fly out from? We are in Phoenix. Have you heard from your son? I have received letters from mine its already such a proud feeling, I already hear a difference in him :)

Well stay strong!

No I have not received any letters yet :(  i am hoping too soon. i did speak with him during week 2, he needed more info.

i was so caught off guard though, i only asked a few questions... He told me it was very hard, but he was doing great. so i keep hanging on to that :) i miss him more that i could have ever imaged! We are in a small town outside of Seattle, WA,

Yes, I'm sure you will receive letters soon. Awww that's what I'm waiting for the most just to hear his voice! My son tells me to its an adjustment but its a good one :)
hey, my son is also ship 07 div 230.  i think these two are div. might be together.  my son left in the 18th.  pir 07/15/11.i hope to stay at the lodge there. it will be just myself so safety being on time is at the top of my list.  hope your haveing a good day.  i will have to fly.  lets not forget flag day.
My son is on Ship 7 Div 228...227 and 228 are brother divisions. I, too, miss my son very much! I didn't get a letter from him until this last Thursday...and then a phone call yesterday! Did you all get your phone calls? Best 35 min! Such a relief to hear his voice :) We are from southern CA.

Yes,

I got a letter on Thursday, i was so happy! Then, on Friday, I receive a call fro my son! it was so awesome to talk to him! i agree, huge relief. he said he is doing great! so i can now quit worrying so much :)

We are from Black Diamond, Wa,  45 min outside of Seattle.

Warren said they have a coed div, so they share barracks with the 228, since they are coed also!

I agree, it was REALLY nice to hear his voice.

Where is your son going to A school?

Mine son is going to Virginia Beach.

My son will be going to A school in Goose Creek, SC. He's going to be a NUKE. What is your son going to be doing?

It is amazing how much better you can feel, just hearing their voice :)

I have an aunt & uncle, cousins and all that live in Marysville...not sure where Black Diamond is...

Sorry it took me a few days to reply! my internet was out, since Sunday! Comcast repaired today! thank

goodness. My son is going to be an intelligence Specialist so he will go to A school, then C school,

both are at Virginia Beach. He will be there for 6 months.  He is really excited for his job.

yes, i also feel so much better after speaking with him last week! He sounded so good! he seems to

be doing great! Just thing only 20 more days till we get to see them! I can hardly wait!

I could not find anything on C school either, I dont think that we will,,,, They are pretty tight on what can be known about there jobs and what we can know :)

We were told he would go straight from boot camp to A school (after the week end of course)  the stay there for C school, so after PIR i don't thing we will see him again until around Christmas.

My son is on Ship 07 Division 229 and scheduled to graduate 7/15/11.  I know these last 2 weeks are so crucial. He is all I think about and I'm counting every minute until graduation.  I've been getting letters every week; usually on Wednesdays because they send out mail on Sunday during Holiday Routine.  His first letters were heartbreaking for he didn't think he was going to make it through.  But now, he's thriving and has even been made a section leader.  I couldn't be more proud of him. His A School will be in beautiful Pensacola FL where he will learn avionics.
I have an SR ship 07 div 227. I am getting most of my news by stalking all of these sites. Thank goodness! My SR will go to A school in San Antonio. I am hoping I hear how all of the tests go then battle stations.

My daughter is RPOC of ship 07 div 227 and is also going to San Antonio. Did any of you hear about the thunder storms on base? Heard trees were down etc, but no injuries. I assume that's why the website is down, I was trying to print out my parking permit but the site won't even load...
