Hi, Sherblonde. Just posted on BootCamp Moms for you. Would you start the actual GROUP for PIR 7/22/11? Better than a division discussion group here. You need to have your own PIR group outside of Bootcamp Moms. It is easy to start one. I can help you if you like...I'm one of the veteran moms on here to help out. Just title it: PIR 7/22/11
You can start a discussion group within the PIR group for your division. We need to get this started as I see form letters are being received. I think RTC may have you listed on the grad schedule by next week with your divisions listed. At that time, you can add the division numbers to the title. It really is easy to start a group. I have done 3 of them since being on here. It's alot of fun and you can "add" administrators from your PIR group who will be able to change the page if you don't feel comfortable doing that (I mean, adding countdown clocks, etc).
Let me know if I can help you!
Dianne
Hi Lynn, I actually got my first letter yesterday and my son called me this morning....I got so nervous when i saw the 847 area code thinking something was wrong because he said he wouldn't be able to call for a while. He is fine and just needed some more info for his FBI clearance. He said that they were just allowed to write either the 4th or 5th - he wasn't sure what the date was. Said they have first inspection tomorrow and their first test on this coming Tuesday. He said his RDC said if they all pass the first test, they would be given an hr to make phone calls, but he said he didn't know if that was going to happen. He said the first week was really hard but after that, it has been ok once they got into their routine. He said that he got a bunch of my letters after he just mailed his this weekend, so they are at least getting mail. He said that he has letters ready to send out now but they wont let them mail them till the weekend.
I am so looking forward to graduation also....Me, my husband, my mom, my daughter and my son's girlfriend are all going. We are staying at the Ramada.
The RTC sight on FB, is that a site particular to a certain division, or is it a general site for all recruit divisions? If so, could you please tell me what the exact name is on FB, because I'm coming up with lots of pages for particular divisions, and if I can get a glimps of my son, that would make my day.
