Hi,

My son left for boot camp on 9/6/2012 and received his address yesterday from his recruiter.  Was wondering if anyone else has a son or daughter with the same Ship/Div #.  Also, do you think his PIR will be on 11/2 or 11/9?   Would like to connect with other moms and dads.  It has been quite a rollercoaster ride but am so proud of him and thankful for all who serve our country.

MIne is in Ship 12, Div 352, recruiter told me it will probably be 11/2

DIvisions 351 and 352 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together,  Division 351 has been confirmed to have PIR on 11/02/2012, so division 352 is also in that TG.  Join the group, PIR 11/02/2012 TG 51 (clickable link) to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.

Got my form letter today!  Ship 12 Div 362. It states that the PIR is 11/2/12.  Counting down the days until I get the I'm a Sailor call.

Join the group, PIR 11/02/2012 TG 51 (clickable link) to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.  Know that Divisions 361 and 362 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for othes with loved ones in either division.

MY SON IS ON SHIP 12 DIV 361 PIR NV 2ND = does that mean we are close same ship. My son left Sept 10.

Divisions 361 and 362 are brother divisions, so yes, they are close.

My son left on Sept 6 and is also on Ship 12 Div 362! We recieved his standard form letter with a PIR of 11/2. We have made our "changeable" plane tickets and are counting down the days!! I am so proud and miss him terribly. He's my youngest son and has never been away from home for this long!

Hi Momof4!   What is your son in for?  Mine will be a Hospital Corpsman with hopes to become part of the Fleet Marine Force as a Combat Medic.  I am also a member of the Facebook PIR 11/2/12 group.  I encourage you to join that group . . .. wonderful people and very easy to navigate.  We are making plans now for the Meet and Greet party, our PIR ribbons, Swag Bags, etc.  Please join us!

Hi Proud Navy Mom, my son wants to be a Culinary Specialist on a Submarine! I guess I should get used to NO contact! I will join the facebook group. Thanks!

OMGosh you received a LETTER!!  That gives me hope....I will be stalking the mail man today!

Got my letter today! Beyond excited. Poor kid is catching a cold and looking forward to having all 4 wisdom teeth removed to get some rest! It sounds brutal but at least he still has his sense of humor!
