Hello!

We will be looking for the mom/wife/GF etc. who will be interested in creating the 01/27/2012 PIR group.

Someone who’s recruit arrived on 11/21 – possibly the 28th or 29th. (Not sure if the decided to “finish” the TG before Thanksgiving) So ladies, if it is something you think you'd be interested in...Friend me and send me a message.

Right now I am seeing some of the moms who’s recruit arrived at RTC on the 21st and 22nd are receiving ship/div numbers from their recruiters. One of you would be perfect for this!

Please remember that when I post dates of when your SR may PIR...it is not exact. I am basing it on the earliest reports and making an "educated" guess on the cutoff date for a TG. BC can be anywhere from 7.5 to 9 weeks. Your recruiter may have your recruit’s ship/division as early as 72 hours after arriving at BC. I will take this ship/div # for the purpose of starting a PIR group BUT please wait for the form letter that your recruit will send home to address your mail and send it. The address your recruiter gets oftentimes is incomplete or has too much information that is not necessary for the address.

Thank You!

I am a Mom who's recruit left on the 21st. I have not heard from my son or received "the box" yet. As soon as I get his info, I will report back. I am anticipating his PIR to be on Jan 27th, but will wait to make sure. Thanks so much everyone!!

My son is on Ship 12 div 029.  When does your husband graduate?

Greetings from South Carolina!

My son left for Great Lakes on 11/22.  I received the box this past Tuesday.   I did alright until I hugged his shirt, then the tears flowed.  Received the packet today ... PIR is Jan 27.  Ship 12 Div 050

I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Take care !!!

Hi. We are from South Carolina too!! My son is Ship 12 DIV 050 as well. I received his box last Tuesday and his form letter on Saturday!! So excited about graduation on January 27th. TTYL!!

Can't believe that we are so close.  I am in Spartanburg.  I wonder if our sons have figured it out...lol  I wrote in the letter that I had befriended moms that were close by with SR in the same SHIP and DIV.  Where are you guys staying for PIR?  I made reservations at the Ramada Inn.  Have not made flight reservations yet.  Have you?  I wonder if our sons have been together since the start?  We took our son to the recruiter in Spartanburg on Mon 11/21.  I know they were waiting on the bus that was coming from Anderson then Greenville to Spartanburg picking up recruits.  Then my son went to Columbia for the night then out of Ft Jackson on Tues into Atlanta then to Great Lakes.  Did your son take the same route?  Looking forward!

We are really close!! My husband went to wofford years ago. We still visit the Beacon every once in a while!!! LOL Not sure where we are staying yet. I'm looking around. My parents are coming from Florida too. My hubby is a pilot with USAirways. We will SA1 up there. Sounds like our sons have been together. Be cool if they knew each other. did you know the "Beacon" in Spartanburg was on the Sunday morning national news on Sunday??? They were talking about JT. LOL cool.My son left on a van from Greenville down to Columbia on 11/21. They could have met on the bus or airport. I know a few of them hung out together in the airport. yep we had the same route. Are they having some kind of festivities at the Ramada Inn?? Thought I read something about that. TTYL!!

Got my first letters from him today. Sounds like they moved to their new barracks. he says the food is really good!!! They got to got shopping on base to get some essential items and he was really excited when they got their blue camos. He likes his division. He says they have a cool group!!
