Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Ship 14 Div 002, PIR 11/14/14
Hello everyone. My sone left on Sep 16th. We got the letter and a call on Saturday. His PIR is 11/14/14, and as all here worried and proud and anxious.

Hi julian! My husband is in the same division as your son, did you get a phone call on Saturday? They seem to be doing very well from what my husband told me :)

He will be going to Pensacola for A school, what about your son? How are you holding up? I feel like November is coming fairly fast

I hope they are doing well. Do you know if we can take them outside the base that weekend at all?

I'm sure they all are doing great, my husband is the division's RPOC a and he is really amazing at teamwork and making sure everyone excels as a unit. He's not one to be on a power trip and he really is wonderful to work with so I have no doubt that they are, pardon my language, kicking ass in bootcamp. You can take them off base after PIR they just have to be back by I think 8pm. If your SR is staying in GL for A school then they will also get weekend liberty

I am hoping we get another call this weekend since that will be the 3 wk Mark. I know that there are 3 "guaranteed" calls, the 15 sec "I'm here" call, the 3 week "im alive" call, then the last "im a sailor call". So I think last weekends call was a call that was earned
