My daughter was scheduled to ship on 7/2 now it's been moved up to 4/11. My head is swimming.... What does she need to know that I have not told her, what have they not told her. I am sure I am over reacting.. It will all be O.K. Right?

She will be fine!!  She should be running . And cut her hair before leaving.  And you still have time to spend with her!! Good luck.

Thanks, lucky for us she runs 4-6 miles a day and already has her hair in a pixie.

Take a deep breath - it'll be ok.  I know it's easy to start panicking when you think that all the time you have to accomplish things has been taken away - but you still have lots of time.  At the top of the Boot Camp discussion thread are a lot of topics that have info for you and her.  The things that I think you should take care of are be sure to have a power of attorney in place - both for general stuff (like you can talk to her credit card companies or student loan people, banking account issues, etc.) and medical (very important!).  If you don't have a medical POA in place then if anything happens to her you will have to cut through a lot of red tape to have doctors discuss particulars of her condition with you - even though you are her emergency contact.  Having the medical POA saves a lot of time.  Second be sure to get a prepaid phone card and be sure that she knows how to use it before she leaves.  Finally just have lots of fun and spend lots of time together in the next couple of months.  Everything will be fine.

Definitely POA, both for financial and medical reasons. Teach her how to manage her money. Show her the ins and outs of balancing her checkbook, and not spending more than she earns.

Sounds like she is ready.  You on the other hand...lol.  Don't worry, it will be ok.  Staying on here is what got me through boot camp.  Lots of support and info.  Just remember, she shouldn't take anything with her except the clothes on her back and her papers, ID, phone card.  I think thats it.  The other ladies said the rest.  Make this time with her count, no fighting if possible, you want your last bit of time together to be good.

Thanks all, She is so ready to go. She was suppose to leave last June and was injured so she had to wait. Does anyone have any information on the transistion to A School. She is CTI and going to Monterrey, CA.
