Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

please keep me post it my son just call me too.i miss him so much.i broke my hart heard him.

my stepson arrived aug 28th as well. unfortunately we missed his call last night but thanks to all the info on this site we know what to expect.

My daughter arrived 8/27 night. She was originally supposed to leave on 8/28, but the date got moved up. I am still waiting on the box and the form letter. I am guessing Labor Day might have delayed things a little, at least with the mail. This site has been so wonderful. My daughter has never been good at relaying information to me, so all of you have taught me so much! In fact I would've missed seeing my daughter swear in if it weren't for me reading about it on here. It was a far drive for me so I am sure my daughter didn't want me to feel like I had to drive all that way, but I wouldn't driven to the ends of the earth just to see her. It was one of the best days and the worst day of my life. I hope I can get to know some of you on this site, it's so nice to have somebody who understands what I am going through. My boyfriend just doesn't understand why I am upset because "at least she is not dead"and my younger daughter doesn't know why I am upset because I still have her. To my boyfriend's defense, his daughter just died of cancer a month ago and my younger daughter has Asperger's syndrome, but now I am trying to hide my emotion and my feelings from both of them. It makes me feel so alone.

Wow! Bless your heart! You have way so much on your plate! I can somewhat relate to a point. I, a single mom with 2 boys, my youngest is like mom.... My boyfriends daughter has ran off with a punk and has not had any contact for a few months but has learned of her pregnancy by Facebook :( he has admitted to me that he is jealous cause he wishes she was in any branch of military. My SR has never been good at relaying information he is usually a last minute kind of guy and a clown but a wonderful since of humor, rarely serious. I got my form letter yesterday and the blanks for his mailing address, PIR, and password for gate pass were left blank!! Thank goodness he put the return address on it! Now reading what I've found about division 950 sounds like maybe it's an honor to be chosen I'm almost afraid to get excited I want to call my boyfriend who is my best friend but he's having a bad day! I hope things level out for you somehow I pray myself to sleep every night after getting off of navy for moms! I'll say a prayer for you and your family!! By the way my son arrived 8/27

The Page, 800 and 900 Divisions, within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 950 is Sticks/Flags.

If you plan to drive onto the RTC, you will need the password, so ask for it when you write him.

We received the box on Wednesday.  Still waiting on the form letter.  Any word on PIR for Div 950 ship 2?

Division 950 has PIR on 10/25/2013. Join the group, PIR 10/25/2013 TG 50, to connect with others with
loved ones training with your SR.
