Hello!
I will be looking for the mom/wife/GF etc. who will be interested in creating the next PIR group... 09/07/2012
This TG will start with Div 279 and have a Performing Division of 943.
New TG’s are usually posted on RTC website on Mondays (unless there is a Federal Holiday then it is Tuesday). Lately, it has been posted later in the week. Then back to Mondays! So you can see what I mean about no exacts.
BC can be anywhere from 7.5 to 9 weeks. It is also possible for recruits to arrive in the same week…or on the same day…but have different PIR dates. Your recruiter may have your recruit’s ship/division as early as 72 hours after arriving at BC. I will take this ship/div # for the purpose of starting a PIR group BUT please wait for the form letter that your recruit will send home to address your mail and send it. Sometimes recruits move around. The address your recruiter gets oftentimes is incomplete or has too much information that is not necessary for the address. (or if you just can't wait you can compare the address to the generic one on the RTC Website )
Folks, if it is something you think you'd be interested in...Friend me and send me a message . I have step-by-step instructions and it is a fun thing to do!
Thank You!

my son left 7-11 all I have gotten so far is his package with his personal items in it!!! I am jealous that you have received the letter!! I want mine!! My son left from Kansas City.
My husband left from California at the same time, I have too just gotten the box
My son arrived at GL on the 11th. The box of clothes today, no letter or PIR anxiously awaiting... I cry often usually alone i am not sure my husband or anyone else for that matter could really understand how sad I feel. Even though he was a few hours away at school this past year just so differnt when you know you can talk to him. I really miss him being just a phone call away.. thanks for understanding how I feel!!
Hey guys, thanks for all of your posts! Looks like some of you are still waiting like me. I feel confident that my letter will come today. Hang in there and keep in touch! Congrats to those of you who have your letter. Hopefully a PIR 9/7 group will now be created soon.
Proudmomof2navysailors - WOW! 2 sailors! Are they twins? Are you expecting them to be together in the same division? I am so impressed and proud of all of our kids! Keep in touch!
Just so you know that sence your hubby is retired, as long as he has the retired ID card, he doesn't have to be on the list to get into PIR. Though you do..only thouse who are either Active duty or retried with the proper ID card get into PIR with out being on the list.
