Would anyone be interested in a weekly event where fellow N4M members "get together" and have a glass of wine?  We would toast those who have received letters and/or phone calls and to support those who are waiting. Can we come up with a catchy name for the wine club and "meet" the same time every week?  Ideas?!?

How does Vines that Bind or SOS for Save our Sanity or Support our Sailors (even though they aren't officially sailors yet) sound for a Wine group?  When would we like to "meet"? Anyone have other ideas?

He got to GL 11/13. PIR 1/10/14
Oh there are many times I wish I could drink wine!!! Wasn't a problem when I was young... But a get together with new friends is good for the mental health! Count me in. I'll toast with ...something!!!!
Yes! Count me in

Ok, I live in Redding, CA!

My son left Nov. 4, what about yours?

That's when my son arrived!!

Samguysmom . . .I am from the Orlando area too. My daughter, also my youngest, left on Nov 18th for Great Lakes. The nest is empty and the house seems so quiet . . .and less messy . . .without her. Waiting to get that first letter or phone call from her. Her PIR is on Jan 17th if nothing changes.

I think it is so great how this site allows us to connect with moms (and wife's) from all over the country as well as our own town, that are experiencing the same proud feeling over our SR's decisions to serve in the Navy while missing them desperately! And to enjoy a glass of wine with . . . .

So, I want to run with this.  How about Vines that Bind (I found a cool pic to go with it).  I do like SOS though. We can "meet" from 6pm-9p. on Sunday YOUR time, which will include West coast through East coast.  Any objections?  Anyone who is a member of N4M would be invited, like A Blue Candle Event.

Alexander's Momma, I love that picture!!  And of course I'm in too!  :)

I would like to be included.... Love this pic and the names Vines that Bind!! I live in the Midwest so I am Central time!! My SR left on Nov 20 and is in Div 910. His PIR is 1/17/14!! Can not wait!! Hugs

Vines that Bind.  A weekly event every Sunday where fellow loved ones "get together" and have a glass of wine, or beverage of choice to toast those loved ones who have received letters and/or phone calls and to support those who are waiting….

Join us at 6pm YOUR time, every Sunday, where ever you may be...
