.....always waiting for the phone to ring, yet hoping it doesn't ring too early...

I hesitated putting that out there, but felt it might make the evening more bearable. I remember the eternity of Friday afternoon of HW waiting on the phone to ring .

I just looked at the clock myself. Please put me on the messages also. I did hear that it may be a late night so not to worry if I didn't hear from him early on....

Thinking about everyone today as we are going through this together. I keep checking the clock to see what time it is on the west coast! Sending up lots of prayers for calmness, focus, control and strength....

May that one quick breath last a l-o-n-g, l-on-g time!! And, attention to detail, Lord help them remember that!

Dear Father,
I ask that you be with (substitute a name) and the men of Class 282. Grant them a restful healing night so they may wake up with a healed body and clear mind. I ask that you bless (name) with a sense of calmness around him. I visualize you calming the waters during the storm for the disciples. I ask you for clear minds with no anxiety, the ability to stay focused and the ability to apply all the skills learned.
Let them know you are there providing the strength that they need. Keep them focused on the task at hand. I also pray that (name) puts any distractions out of mind and focus only on today with total focus and control over his body, mind and emotions. We ask your calming presence to be with each one so they may have success. Help them know that where they are weak, You are strong - and to place their hope and trust in You. Thank you for the gifts of these guys you have given us. We know you are with them, and us, every minute, and we thank you and praise you for that. Amen

Thinking about everyone today. I agree "MySonMyHero" pray with out ceasing today and tomorrow.
Dear Father,
I keep visualizing when you calmed the waters during the storm for the disciples. I pray today for "calm" waters and calm minds today and tomorrow for our guys. I ask you to provide warmth from the sunshine and warmth from you to keep their bodies warm. Grace them with your calming presence so that they can keep their confidence and clear minds during their activities. I pray that they know your presence today and always. In our Father's name, Amen
