Yes, your sons will feel bad for a few days, but they have lots of people around them. Remember our guys are a team now and they take care of their own! You will hear lots of wierd ailments, swollen hands and feet, knees, horrible chafing and of course, no voice. Two things stand out in my mind, his hunger and his inability to get warm. I couldn't tell if he was laughing or crying at me when I suggested a very hot hot shower. He said the last thing he wanted was to be in any water....If you haven't read the chapter in "Warrior Elite" by DIck Couch about HW afterwards, read that today. It makes you realize that the ailments are temporary and they do heal, but not overnight. I ached to be out there, but I also realized that the transition from boyhood to manhood is harder on me than him and that he needed to achieve this glory with his team.

Can you believe it... it is 9:00 FRIDAY morning in Coronado.......Congrats to those who get phone calls, and congrats and prayers to those who received phone calls earlier in the week. Though your son may not be on the same track anymore, they have still achieved so much. Not much longer....
