Good Evening firsttimenavymom,
My daughter is in A school in FL. Now that they are in school they usually call sometime after 4:00 their time. And they can call as much as they want. If your son has a lap top, send it too him. He can now have it as well as a cell phone. Enjoy PIR, and be prepared to shed alot of tears. It is an amazing cerimony.
Best of luck!

Hi All! My son finished Battlestations today! Flying out for PIR next week! Anyone have experience on A school in FL? What can I expect as far as contact once he is there? He's a Grad & Go, so I only have Friday during the day with him, and I'm hopeful that we will be able to talk more once he's in A school..

I moved away with my husband at 21 too. My mom worries all the time so I understand. I do work, but I don't go to school. I really wish I could decide what BA I wanted so I could finish :)

Goodmorning! :-D

Lorraine - I'm sorry to hear that, but, glad to hear that you are doing better.
Lay off is a common thing now a days.

ddsweety - I'm in building 2 :O
haha
There are a lot of military here haha. Do you work?
Comment by ddsweety on August 25, 2010 at 11:29pm
I live in building 2. I see lots of military in these buildings but I havn't meet anyone really. My husband and I really like it here though. It seems like the best price compared to the many buildings around. The Mirage apartments are a bit cheeper but I don't think they are as nice as the promenade.

haha... I think it's safe to assume that you have a facebook Lorraine :)
Yes, social networking sites can get addicting. I work and go to school full time so I try not to give myself too much distraction. Although, sometimes I wish I did have a facebook haha
