OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

This picture is of Sue, Molly, Diane, Lynn, and myself in NYC last August! We are all from different states. One of the best trips I have taken since my adventure with my son began! I think Brenda Sue is taking the picture! I wanted to post it so that you guys will be as excited as I am about meeting all of you!!! Mark you calendars for the next meet and greet in California on August 29, 2009.

I live in San Juan Capistrano so we are fairly near each other. Also, we have a group for SO CAL moms, wives, etc.

Is there a group that is active in Southern California?

saw this in a magazine, thought i'd pass it on:

This year canvas on demand, a company that turns your photos into canvas portraits is offering a 16x20 picture to any mom of a deployed service member. Your sailor just needs to go to www.canvasondemand.com and register under "operation mom".
