Cheryl, I wasn't a night owl until my son decided to become a sailor! Now I don't seem to sleep much...LOL I'd be glad to burn the midnight oil with ya.

Good Morning ladies, I'm just stopping by to say 'hi.' I haven't heard from 'B' since PIR except for that voice mail I missed saying "I'm on hold at GL." I'm keeping busy with work, etc. Looking for something fun to do during the 3-day weekend close to home. I'm happy to hear all of your news about your sailors. Keep in touch and I hope your day is great,

Hi my friends, It seems like we're settling back to "real life." Work, school, chores, and stuff. I'm still in the dark about what 'B' is doing other than being on hold at GL. I'm hoping he get his waiver this week. I'm disappointed that he hasn't called. Oh well, I guess he will when he has something to tell. Have a good night all,

Hi everyone, here I am checking in to see what's going on. I'm so glad to see familiar "faces." I still haven't heard from 'B' since the brief voice mail on Tu. I h ave no idea what's goin on. He said he'd call when he could call on his own time. It's Sunday, and no call yet. This is gonna kill me! I know he's on hold, but he has no A school approved for any time. He might have to go undesignated....I don't even have his address anymore. Grrrr!

Fletch, I'm so glad you thought it was the animals and not people...wait, it was animals! Just gald no one was hurt! Timbosmon_dad, that is totally awesome, thanks for sharing. Dori, sorry that I mis-read your name before and called you Don. It's a vision thing (sigh). We'll all be missing those special days this year, guess you just got to lead the way. 'B' will be 23 on Nov 13, that is my lucky number now.

I can't even write to 'B' because I missed his "I'm on hold" call and haven't heard anything since then.

Happy birthday to Trent! I'm happy that everyone is still checking in here.

DNICE & TLEW:), my son got put on hold at GL. He's waiting for his paperwork to be approved so he can head to Coronado. I missed his call on Tues :( it was the first one I missed in all this time!! I'm still waiting to hear from him again. I can't even write because his address is different than in BC. Oh well, I guess I'd better get used to waiting......it's gonna be a long 6 years. Guess I'm feelin kinda down tonight. Hope you get lots of phone calls when your guy gets his phone in the mail. Have a great night.

Hi Marion, I'm 2 hours behind a lot of you, it's only 10 in CA. Today was my first day back to work and I'm wired again. The cat and hubby are both sleeping but not me. Anyone out there? I guess I'll scout around and see if anyone else is still up.....

DNICE AND TLEW, thanks for sharing about the grad weekend with your guy. Oh, and Happy Birthday! It is so, so hard to leave them :( I cried for at least 2 hours on Sunday night after leaving my son. My ray of sun is that he said maybe he'll get to come home for Christmas. I'm really happy for you about getting CALLS now.
