Hi everyone, I've been on the computer ALL weekend and just peeked in here a couple of times. I had to go back 6 pages just now to get caught up! I finally got my plans made for PIR. We're making a side trip, AND trying to cut costs. Glad that's finally done.

I would love if one of you with the computer-know how can tell me how to get the great pictures and graphics you're putting on here. I really enjoy them, thanks! It will have to be the "Computers for Dummy's" version though. LOL

Happy Friday everyone, three weeks goes by like (snap) that. I feel very blessed to have all of you to share this with. I'm praying for all of the recruits in GL to be safe and complete their first mission, Boot Camp, with great success, and for their families to stay strong while they are away.

Tonya, you must live in Calif.! My husband has been laid off since January, and my ex was laid off too. Come to think about it, my cube neighber also got cut, yesterday was his last day! Oh no, maybe it's me!!!! Wow, Tee, what a way to make it "all about you." (Now I'm talking to myself and everybody can hear me.) Better get off now.....

I think Southwest also doesn't charge extra for bags.

Wow, I'm having trouble remembering who to thank, who to say "me too" to and who to encourage, so I'll just say "I love you all!"

Is it just me, or does getting a call make you miss them more?
Comment by Tee-1sailor's mom on July 21, 2009 at 1:19am
Tonya and Carol, I'm so sorry. I think missing the call is worse than not getting it at all! It's weird to think that just a few weeks ago we could call them or see them whenever we wanted to and now it's the biggest event going. In a few MORE weeks we'll be able to see them in person, then it starts all over again. What an adventure it's going to be.. (I'm still waiting for my call and whining about it all over the site.)

Fletcher and LynnP, so sorry to hear about your sons' losses. I'll add my prayers to those already sent by our group.
