Hi everyone!
A belated Merry Christmas to all. I haven't been on in MONTHS! On top of work and being a mom, I am working on my Master's degree, and it is kicking my butt. I would never take the time away from my children to get my degree if I didn't really NEED it, but it is the only way I can move up a little higher on the pay scale at work.
So, enough complaining. This is my favorite group. I haven't really connected with others. I know I have said this before, but I love how you ladies write from the heart! I can't tell you how many times I have teared up reading your touching stories!
My sailor is home!!!! He is still in GL, and on light duty due to a stress fracture. Hopefully he will be in San Diego in March, and be closer to home.
His 15 yr old brother is enjoying having him home, and his 7 yr old brother and sister are over the moon. I think they are probably a little annoying to him :-)
Marion, it must have been tough having Christmas without Justin. I want you to know I was thinking of you!
I loved reading the posts about the military reunions at airports. I am so much more aware of them now myself! It is so hard to say goodbye though :-(.
Well, I better get off and do my homework and pay bills. UGH

Marion, I'm so glad Justin made it home safely. It was sweet that he wanted to surprise you. Have a wonderful visit with him. Tell those guys at work that you might be coming down with the flue or something and HAVE to go home! LOL
