I have come to see that while my husband is deployed some weeks are good and some weeks are not.  This past week was not a good week for me.  From working full time, to being a full time parents, to having all the responsibilities around the house, to making sure our bills are paid, to not sleeping more than 2 hours a night, and making sure that I get and send my husband the things that he needs while he is gone, I am to the point now where I am physically, mentally and emotionally drained.  I find that sometimes the pain of having him gone is so much that I am going to break.  Thursday when I came home I was so burnt out that I let the kids watch a movie in their room and closed their door and went out into my backyard and sat at the table under the umbrella and cried.  Didnt feel like talking to anyone except for my husband, but wasnt able to.  Today was the first time I heard from him in almost a week and it was at 5am and we were disconnected after 5 mins.  If I could have one wish it would be to have him home with us so we didnt have to feel incomplete.  Sorry for the downer storm but needed to get it off my chest.

Dont forget everyone that tomorrow if RED FRIDAY! if you dont know what red friday is, it is where you wear red every friday to show support for your troops (why red? i have no idea) but dont forget to wear something red on fridays. I have red scrubs especially for this day!

Marsha, the kids are doing ok.  Our daughter had a rough evening though, crying a lot for her daddy.

Amanda what a great idea, daddy will love it when he gets home.

Marcy the only other group I belong with is USS Mesa Verde created by tracy.

I'm going to go back looking at the web site USS Mesa Verde to see what information I received/found last year. You all might already know it, but I have forgotten a lot of it. It was Jeremy's first deployment and I was on the computer looking for info everyday/night he was gone.

What a lovely idea!  I haven't seen anything like that before.  Amanda and Debbie, what other groups are you members of here on N4M?  You both have lots to offer! And it would help to spread the word about this group, too!  :)
