Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Re your photo - once you browse for your picture and select it, scroll way down to the bottom of the page and click "Save."  See if that works.......

Debbie, as far as I know, you have to be with the active military person to get their discounts.  Perhaps you can call the hotel and speak with the person at the desk to see what they were referring to?

Hi everyone, Thanks for the info about the ID cards marcy~corpsman mom. We went last weekend to see Jeremy before he had to go to another state. The hotel person where you check in, said the parents could get an ID cards for discounts. She said she had seen them all the time. But when Jeremy showed her his ID card we got a discount. I can not figure out how to put a picture on my profile. I click at the bottom of my profile, then it takes me to brouse for a picture in my computer. I then click on a picture and it does not add it to my profile. Can anyone help??
