My sailor is graduating corpsman school today in San Antonio and is heading to CL for this class.  Both excited and nervous about this next turn in the road...

CPMOM:  Congratulations to you and your sailor.  Mine graduated on 7/19 and is now at CL.  I know he has been waiting for some of his buddies from SA to join him.  Maybe your sailor is one of them!  I thought he was going to start school this month but apparently now isn't starting until Oct.  They have him working in some medical warehouse on base until then.  He seems to like it.  Good luck to your sailor!

Mine must also be in this group.  He said he starts in Oct, Actually his birthday.  Looking forward to getting to know you ladies more over the coming months.  Mine is working on base on the aid station.

My son will be in this October class as well.. he is stationed there at Cherry Point, which is about 30 min from CL.  He is working in a small clinic with a Marine unit right now.

He graduated A school the end of July,,

How about your sons

My daughter is in CJ (Camp Johnson - where the FMTB-E training quarterdeck is located) and is working out with the other students that have failed out of a class or have been injured.   Apparently, this class now starts on the 31st of October, and graduates on the 23rd of December.

I don't know why her orders sent her to check in there, instead of at the hospital or aid station (she is a Psych Tech) but she's getting alot of exercise (it was hard to do it in SA where it was over 100 degrees), and working out 2x a day.

The first night she showed up, they were taken aback that she showed up early, but it was in her orders.  I think this will be good for her though.  She needs to get back into a regular exercise routine, and this is going to do it for her :-)

My sailor graduated 8/24 from SA and they kicked her out the same day - I guess they were running out of barracks space!

My son was also required to leave the barracks the same day he graduated from SA.  He is currently attached to the hospital at LeJeune.  He has been working in the ER there and is enjoying getting the hands on clinical experience.  He is married, so is currently living out in town.
You are referring to the FMTB class for the date change?
Hi all.. looks like it is now our turn!  Prayers to all our Corpsman and to us for another school!

My sailor texted me earlier to say he has only gotten yelled at once so far today!!!  Too funny!

Looks like class is starting next week instead of this week.. 8 weeks puts them right at Christmas.
