While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

When I was there in May, though it was a bright sunny day, fog drifted across the beach road at Topsail Island as I was driving back to CL about 1 pm, seemed so odd that time of day! Wish I could be at the beach right now, 103 here...

Now he's been at CL for over a year and well right now he's loving it !!! My daughter just told me it's 100 degrees there... He just got back at the end of May and now he's in training again.... My kids only really know 75 degree weather...
