Lori.. thank you so much. What part of OK are you in my hubbys parents are in Owasso area. We are praying they will come out here... so please pray for them as they dont ever seem to think these are not important times.
Still on bed rest, and so ready for the hubby to be home. Though because of his job he will not have much time off and still have long days so please continue to keep our forth baby in your prayers. I am 25 wks now and am praying she will saty put till at least 32 wks.
Well ladies, it makes me happy to see you all getting the preparations in order.
I have to share, I got my first ever Sailor on deployment call, and it was all garbled and muffled and barely audible, sounds like my sailor and Lori's sailor got on the same line somehow. I know it was him, and I was shocked and surprised and then so sad when we just got disconnected. I don't know how you all do it, I think I'm good with emails.
haha. i guess i won't be getting a letter from the captain... but that sounds pretty neat. :)
so. kittythief, you gave me a good idea... i'm thinking i should have some close friends sign that banner... it'll be one more thing i could do to keep my mind busy on the home stretch...
i'm going to hang mine up at home too i think... it will be a good second surprise when we get back into stl. ;)
Good Evening Ladies...
I'm so glad that you are reaching the end and will soon have your Sailors back. My son is with the group that replaced them....I wish you all lots of love, huggs and wonderful moments with them all...
hello ladies,
can't say things are any easier right now even though its only weeks. jim and i went through some hard times this week and i've been quite worried about him.
tanksley: again, you are amazing. i can't imagine having children through all of this, every time i read something from you i have more and more respect for what you are going through. it helps me get a little stronger just thinking about you.
*sigh* i'm so ready for deployment to be over... lol. i'm so glad that it isn't going to be one day longer.
i've been thinking about how quiet our forum is going to seem after the homecoming... all spending time with our sailors and neglecting our comps... lol. pretty good feeling.
Maureen,
Heavy heart these days for my three sweet kiddos. They are in need of their normal life back in the worset way. I had a bad day yesterday as my little man had to get five shots and an iron test. I had a friend go with me as I had tons of stuff that I needed to talk to the Ped. about. She had to hold him down while he got his shots. His sensory is much higher than normal kiddos and so things hurt him a lot worse than normal. It was heart breaking. Poor little man will go back once daddy gets home for more test so please keep in your prayers.
Thank you for keeping my sweet family in your prayers as this is a long road for them right now. Even when Rob comes home it is not over just a little easier.
WOW weeks it is so hard to beleive we are this close now. Hope to meet all you sweet ladies.
lori: i've been reading that link up all day! i love it! a woman that i work with is Iranian and she was excited to hear the story.
Tanksley: i will definitely thinking about you. :) once we all meet up on the day of the homecoming, i'm sure we will all be able to help you out if we can. such a big plus of meeting each other on this site is being able to ban together in person. i'm excited to meet you and help in anyway i can. thanks so much for the site as well! i wish i would have known about this earlier, i have a photographer scheduled, but maybe i should look into this just in case something comes up...
